Car 60 – 2005 Mustang GT 4.6 Litre V8
I, like millions of others fell in love with Mustangs at a very young age as soon as we saw one, which being in Northern Ireland was only on TV!
Fast forward to my honeymoon in LA and Las Vegas I had arranged to finally realise my boyhood dream of driving a Mustang by booking a rental Mustang for a week but it wasn’t to be as resulting from our delayed flight they had given away the car to someone else! Long story short we saw quite a few mustangs during our honeymoon and after I chatted to the very proud owner of a 2005 V8 Mustang at a diner in Baker (between LA and Vegas) I knew I had to own one to experience what he was talking about.
I bought my car the following year from a gentleman moving from Florida to Birmingham and have spent countless hours doing minor work to keep the car looking its best.
The car sounds amazing as you would expect from the throaty V8, is a real head turner and is truly unique here in Ireland. You can’t help but smile once you start the car and your heart is pumping until long after you step out.
